Return to Product Page		Conformance Check is pleased to present the newest development in our product line, the Corporate Trainer Computer Based Training.

This Training program is to be viewed as an "experience" by which facility personnel can obtain a better understanding of environmental issues, learn environmental regulatory requirements, and understand the environmental programs currently underway at the site and within the organization. The program also allows you to demonstrate conformance to the International Organization for Standards (ISO) 14001 general awareness training requirements by providing information on company's management systems, policy, significant environmental aspects (SEA), objectives and targets, and management programs.

The Corporate Trainer system will provide:
  • a platform to ensure that employees are aware of the organization's environmental policy and a basic understanding of regulatory requirements
  • meets ISO 14001 (section 4.4.2) requirements for environmental awareness
  • training specific to the roles and responsibilities for employees: management, office personnel, and operating areas
  • a record of user access and test scores in order to track who has received the training and their retention of key information
  • the information necessary to educate the user on how to identify and manage environmental issues within the framework of changing regulatory requirements
  • provides flexibility for additional/ replacement of modules in the future in response to internal/external issues
Corporate Trainer applications can deliver training to students on a:
  • Intranet
  • LAN/WAN server
  • stand-alone Workstation
In addition, organizations have the opportunity to customize the information and modules to suit their particular interests and programs. Hence, by customizing the information, each module will encompass specific information that pertains to each organization's policies and procedures.

Corporate Trainer can provide to companies cost savings while offering a platform to ensure employees are trained in a cost efficient and timely manner. The Corporate Trainer is being used to train over 50,000 people at companies in North America. Current estimates on savings for one facility are in excess of $500,000 (U.S.) with 1,400 users having completed the program.

Mr. Brian Lane, Chief of ISO 14001 auditor for SGS ICS (ISO 14001 Registrar) described the Corporate Trainer designed and implemented at Ontario Hydro Darlington Nuclear Generating Station (ISO 14001 Registered) as "the most comprehensive environmental awareness training package I have ever seen".
